The homepage is your starting point. It is made up of a number of "bricks", each containing useful information. The exact layout of these bricks is configurable, so you can customise your homepage to suit the way you work.
To begin, first click the gear wheel icon in the top right.
Each brick will now have an X in its top right corner. Click this to remove the brick from your homepage, and click OK when asked to confirm. You can add the brick again later if you want to.
You can move bricks around on your homepage. Click and hold the title bar of the brick, drag the brick to its new position, and release the mouse button. If the brick won't fit where you put it, it will go back to its original position.
There may be more bricks available to you. If you have space on your homepage, you can add them.
To begin, click an empty space on your homepage. A window opens with the list of available bricks; bricks already on your homepage aren't shown here:
Each brick has a name and a description. The icon on the left shows you how many rows and columns the brick will take up on your homepage; most bricks are 1x1, but some may take up more space.
Click the brick that you want. It will be added to your homepage, in the position you chose. You can move it around if you want to.
Note that you may not have all of these bricks on your homepage.
This brick shows you the most recent plate inspections across all your imagers.
For each plate inspection, this brick shows:
Scroll down to see older plate inspections. These will load automatically as you scroll.
This brick lets you see at a glance how full your imagers are.
Each imager's name and serial number are shown, along with a bar indicating how full it is. As the imager fills up, this bar turns yellow, then red. The lighter part of the bar represents active plates (those with one or more inspection scheduled), while the darker part shows expired plates (those that have no inspections scheduled and should be removed from the imager).
Hold your mouse over the bar to see the number of active plates, expired plates, and free slots in the imager.
Click the imager's name to go to the imager page.
This brick is available only to administrators. It allows you to monitor your disk usage, not only on your IceBear server but also on any network storage (such as Formulatrix image stores) mounted to it.
As disks fill up, they will turn yellow and then red.
Note that this brick only works if your IceBear server is running Linux. It won't work with a Windows server.
